Life is moving faster than ever, at least it feels that way. Five months ago, our family's world changed forever when Baby Callum was born and immediately began his fight for life at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Today, this incredible little warrior continues to amaze us all as he waits for a heart transplant that will give him the chance at the life he deserves. Looking at him, he is thriving in every way- I mean, look at this beautiful, happy little chub of a boy…if it weren’t for all the wires he’s connected to, at first glance he’s just another adorably, thriving baby.
The Story Behind The Little Heart Fundraiser
In May, The Little Heart Fundraiser was launched to support Callum's family during this incredibly challenging time. Every month, special mini sessions are held for families to capture beautiful portraits while contributing to something much bigger than themselves.

Over these past five months at CHOP, Callum has shown us what true strength looks like. Connected to a Berlin Heart - an external device that pumps his blood outside his tiny body - this little warrior is surrounded by machines that keep him alive every single day. The reality is heartbreaking and humbling—Callum cannot leave the hospital until he gets a new heart. Every day Callum must depend on the incredible medical team and technology that surrounds him 24/7.
While Callum continues to wait for his heart transplant, he’s thriving and reaching the rest of his benchmarks for a five month old. He’s already rolling over!
Callum’s journey is remarkable, and so are his parents.
We’re in complete awe watching Emma and Bronson, rise from the ashes of every expectation they had for bringing their baby home. Like phoenixes, they have transformed from new parents expecting typical newborn days into advocates, caregivers, and warriors themselves. They navigate circumstances that would overwhelm most people - living apart most of the week, learning medical terminology, celebrating milestones, and holiday firsts in Callum’s hospital room, and holding hope when the weight of uncertainty is crushing. All this AND still working.

Emma and Bronson still show up for Callum, for one another and for themselves every single day with love, determination, and an unwavering belief in their son’s recovery.
This is their daily reality, and has been for five months. While other new parents worry about sleep schedules and feeding routines, Emma and Bronson are managing life-and-death decisions alongside celebrating every small victory in their son's fight

Our upcoming mini sessions aren't just about beautiful family photos (though you'll absolutely love them!). They're about creating a ripple effect of hope and support. When you book a session, 100% of net proceeds go directly to supporting Callum's family for a myriad of unexpected costs incurred from the countless needs that come with living apart, residing out of state due to having a child in long term hospital care.
